- I was not Happy with windows 7 starter edition and had copy of windows 7 Professional so i installed Win 7 Pro. In the process I lost ASUS Express Gate Cloud OS. To recover ASUS Express Gate Cloud OS, I restore my netbook using recovery partition accessed by pressing F9 key during boot.

When I installed my motherboard drivers I chose select all, after that install/reboot express gate no longer functioned. I get the following error on boot. (See attachment)
I am downloading the newest version of Express Gate from Asus (ExpressGateSSD_V1008_XPVistaWin7.zip) but there servers are ^&*(*& bull shit. I'm getting 10kb a sec and its going to take 5 hours.
Reinstalling the current version from the dvd does not work either.
Any ideas?

I love it but i/it have/has issues:
1. is the battery life extended or is this a os.toy?
2. it would be great to change the resolution (fixed 1280x800 i think!)
3. i can't update. well 1 in 50 attempts it updates (small widgets, mp3 player) but most of the time it says Server not found. (wireless is working, because chrome never displays time out message) is there any other way to update this os.thing any other way?
The asus update only works in windows, and says no update needed.
